Current and local cultural offerings
One of the core components of the website is the Uitagenda, in which the current cultural offerings of, among others, Poppodium De Piek, the Sint Jacobskerk, the MuZEEum, CineXL Theater and the library (ZB Vlissingen) are automatically loaded. Here we cleverly build on the regional development of the Zeeland Uitagenda, which is being realized under the direction of the Zeeland Cultural Organization (ZCO). Thanks to this link, existing cultural offerings are optimally utilized and we can present local programming efficiently and up-to-date to a wide audience.
We actively approach cultural parties who are not (yet) affiliated with the ZCO and encourage them to share their programming with us. In this way we make Vlissingen's total cultural offering as visible and accessible as possible.
In addition to cultural programming, we also provide extensive space for events. Large and small-scale activities are given a place through our own event pages, and where relevant we support the visibility of events, locally, regionally and nationally through targeted audience campaigns. In this way we encourage participation, attendance and engagement, and contribute to the vibrant character of the city.

The development of Visitvlissingen.nl is done in close cooperation with local partners including the VLOC (Vlissingse Ondernemers Centrale), KHN Vlissingen, the cultural institutions in the city and the partners of the Kenniswerf (education and business). This joint approach ensures that the platform truly reflects the city.
