But also about strong women and cunning smugglers. You'll meet Michiel de Ruyter, of course, but also many others, such as Leonora, an enslaved woman who, from Curaçao escapes on a Zeeland ship. You decide who for you are the sea heroes.
In addition to many restored masterpieces, you will also find unique treasures from the seabed at the muZEEum. They come from two sunken ships: 't Vliegend Hert and De Rooswijk. The maritime objects are brought to life with interactive game elements, an audio tour, beautiful video projections and even scent!
