What is there to do?

Solomonenko (b. 1966, Chervonograd, Ukraine) is a versatile artist. Agnes den Hartogh fell for his work combining acrylic paint and silicone. She associates the results with a peaceful, colorful underwater world.

Solomonenko fought as a military officer in Afghanistan and for more than a year and a half in the war against Russia. Because of shrapnel injuries, he was discharged from the army and sent from the hospital for rehabilitation to the Netherlands. He currently resides in Goes.

During this pop-up exhibit, Agnes is happy to give his work a chance to spar with her own underwater works.
