What is there to do?

On May 5th, something special will happen during the Liberation Festival Zeeland. At five minutes to five, almost a million Liberation Festival visitors will pause to reflect on what freedom means to us. No music, no festive noise, but a powerful moment of silence.

We realize how special it is that we can gather and celebrate in freedom. At the same time, we think of the places in the world where freedom is not a given.

From the main stage, you will be taken into this symbolic moment. With inspiring words from speakers and an impressive XXL flag forming at the main stage, we will together create a moment of connection, awareness, and respect.

Together quiet. Together strong. Together free.
