Bakkie Bach – musical theater with a wink and audience participation welcome!

During Salty Sounds On the Oude Markt in Vlissingen, the Kofferbak Collectief presents the sparkling performance Trucka witty adaptation of Bach's famous Coffee Cantata. In this mini-opera, father Schlendrian tries to cure his daughter Lieschen of her coffee addiction – with hilarious consequences. With singing, acting, and top musicians, Bach comes to life in a way that is both accessible and infectious.

But that's not all. Afterwards, you are cordially invited to the St. James' Church for an interactive workshop. Here you will actively engage with singing and music, guided by professional musicians. Whether you are experienced or just curious, everyone can participate. Together we will explore the world of Bach, work on ensemble singing, and experience firsthand how this music sounds and feels.
