What is there to do?

Nieuwsgierig naar wat er schuilgaat langs onze kust? Op zaterdag 30 mei openen bunkers door heel Nederland hun deuren voor publiek. Van Zeeland tot en met de Waddeneilanden kun je tussen 10.00 en 17.00 uur een kijkje nemen in deze bijzondere bouwwerken uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De bunkers maakten deel uit van de Atlantikwall en liggen vaak goed verborgen in het landschap, onder het zand of verscholen tussen het groen. Tijdens Bunkerdag krijg je een unieke kans om ze van dichtbij te ontdekken en meer te leren over hun geschiedenis en betekenis in een ingrijpende periode. In Zeeland is bovendien een bunker te bezoeken die speciaal tijdens de Koude Oorlog werd gebouwd.
