The accordion ensemble “Encore,” led by Harry Schroevers (conductor and music teacher), presents a unique accordion concert with inspiring music. This ensemble consists of highly trained musicians who are eager to share their passion for music and the accordion with the audience.
The concert promises to be a surprising experience with beautiful arrangements and original music composed for the accordion. From Bach through Rogier van Otterloo to Abba, the ensemble brings a broad repertoire to life with their virtuosic playing. This concert will showcase the accordion in a new light for many.
“During this concert, ”Encore“ will be accompanied by Bernadette van Steijn on clarinet. Bernadette completed her musical training at the Berlin Conservatory. During the concert, she will perform the solo parts in pieces such as Ennio Morricone's ”La Califfa“ and Rogier van Otterloo's beautiful, well-known work ”Esther.".
The program also includes musical pieces such as “Imagine” by The Beatles, “Eloise” by Paul Ryan, “Palladio” by Karl Jenkins, and “Tango pour Claude” by Richard Galliano.
