Musical jack-of-all-trades Yorick van Norden reveals the hidden musical universe of Paul McCartney. Like a detective, he delved into the legendary ex-Beatle's record closet, the contents of which no one previously discovered.
In addition to albums by such familiar names as The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Joni Mitchell, Yorick stumbled upon surprising finds, such as experimental classical music by Stockhausen, Americana by Gram Parsons and soul by Marvin Gaye. Even hip-hop by Eminem, funk by The Meters and afrobeat by Fela Kuti have a place in this rich collection.
In The Recordcase of Paul McCartney, Yorick takes you on his extraordinary journey of discovery, singing, playing and narrating. He also recounts personal experiences at Abbey Road Studios and plays the songs he recorded there.
Don't miss it, this infectious performance by Holland's greatest McCartney connoisseur.
