Jay Francis (also known as Tisjeboy Jay) is a Dutch stand-up comedian who has quickly established himself as one of the most successful comedians of his generation. In 2022, he managed to sell out solo Ziggo Dome Amsterdam to do the same again in 2023 in Rotterdam Ahoy.
In addition to his cabaret appearances, in the summer of 2024 Jay made his debut as an actor in the Videoland Original series Jackson & Malone, directed by Hans Teeuwen. In late 2024, his documentary ‘The Shadow of Laughter’ premiered in Dutch and Belgian cinemas and attracted more than 30,000 visitors. This achievement earned him the Kristallen Film Award and the documentary was released September 1, 2025 on Prime Video. In 2025-2026 Jay plays his 6th cabaret show in the Netherlands and Belgium called 'Evolution' for which he received the prestigious Platinum Ticket Award, for selling more than 50,000 tickets.
Jay's cabaret performances can be viewed on several streaming platforms: “Politically Correct” is available on Prime Video, “In De War” can be seen in Belgium on Streamz and in the Netherlands on Pathé Thuis. He has also been a guest on popular television programs such as Hell or Hotel, De Alleskunner VIPS, Ranking The Stars, De Verraders and Like Me I'm Famous.
