Perhaps you were there. New Year 2012. The chansonnier Philippe Elan was the tastemaker of the evening with his movingly beautiful French Chansons by Aznavour, Piaf, and Brel, among others. A good reason for the Zeeland Orchestra to ask him back.

And with upbeat music by Offenbach and others, a Slavic dance by Chabrier and more familiar tunes, it will be a wonderful evening to usher in the New Year.
