What is there to do?

Following annual tradition, this year we again welcome the relay runners who collect the fire in Wageningen and bring it to Vlissingen on May 5, 2026. In Vlissingen, they light the Freedom Flame: a historic and meaningful moment symbolizing freedom and unity.

We expect to officially welcome the runners with a celebration on the festival's main stage between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Don't miss this special moment and experience the arrival of the Freedom Flame together.
