Saturday, November 15 Door open 8:30 p.m. | Start 9 p.m. Supermoon makes infectious 70's funk music and draws influences from bands like "Sly And the Family Stone" and "The Meters. The result is an otherworldly combination of thick groove, rock solid harmonies and a dose of accents that fly around your ears at a rapid pace. After two EPs, over 300 shows, airplay on national radio, a sold-out release show in Melkweg Amsterdam and support shows for Average White Band and UB40, it is now time for the debut album, the first single of which was released on July 1, 2022. Again, expect uptempo funk of the highest order in which the cheerful and danceable music contrasts in a cool way with the meaningful lyrics of frontman Daan Krakers.
