Summer 2025 was the first time Inge performed at Cultuurpodium Sint Jacobskerk, and she made a deep impression on us. What a fantastic concert! There was every reason to invite her to Vlissingen again this year.
With a harp in her hands, Inge Louisa (25) tells stories – full of color, emotion, and surprising twists. She demonstrates the versatility of her instrument by effortlessly switching between classical, film music, jazz, and contemporary sounds. Whether she performs solo, sings her own arrangements, or interprets her own compositions, Inge always seeks a connection with her audience.
Inge Louisa discovered her passion for the harp at the age of 9. Under the inspiring guidance of her first teacher, she began to compose and developed her own musical language. What followed was an impressive trajectory of study, performances, and awards.
Inge studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Erika Waardenburg and Gwyneth Wentink, where she graduated with honors in 2023. Besides playing the harp, singing is an important part of her musical expression. During her conservatory studies, she took jazz singing as a minor and was subsequently coached by Paula Snoeren Vocals. This combination of harp and singing gives her performances a personal and intimate dimension.
Her music has been heard on prestigious stages such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, De Doelen Rotterdam, and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. She has also been featured on NPO Radio 4 and appeared on the TV program Podium Klassiek.
Her wish is to inspire and touch people with her sounds. We discovered last summer that she succeeds at this like no other; discover it for yourself and come to this undoubtedly inspiring concert.
This concert is part of a series of Summer Evening Concerts by Cultuurpodium Sint-Jacobskerk.
