In her new solo show, singer Leoni Jansen goes on the hunt! For precious moments, for the beauty of nature. For the most beautiful songs, for solutions to relationship problems. For philosophical solutions to everyday problems, and down-to-earth solutions to philosophical problems.

Simply waiting to see what comes your way is a waste of time; Leoni is too eager and too greedy for that. No, Jansen hunts.

Part of the hunt are brilliant songs from the folk repertoire, beautiful Dutch-language songs, and gems from world music. With her often comical contemplations and clear observations, this creates a performance about the zest for life as an elixir against the relentless march of time.

This concert is part of a series of Summer Evening Concerts by Cultuurpodium Sint Jacobskerk.
