The HZ conducts applied research on topics that are directly relevant to the region and beyond. Examples include water management, sustainable energy, health and prevention, the balance between livability and tourism and innovative forms of food supply.
Building a smart region together
HZ works closely with partners such as Scalda, Dockwize and the Delta Climate Center. Together they form an ecosystem in which students, researchers and entrepreneurs inspire and strengthen each other. The Kenniswerf is thus growing into an innovative campus where everything revolves around learning, creating and doing business together.
