Entrepreneur Roni Abdullah's modern barbershop has become a meeting place for men of all ages and backgrounds who value style, grooming and good conversation. The road to hairdressing<\/h2>\n

That Roni would one day have barber scissors in his hand was not immediately obvious. In 2014, he began as an entrepreneur in the hospitality and luxury shower business, but soon discovered his true passion: barbering. \"Being a hairdresser doesn't feel like work. This is what I really want to do,\" he says. \"You meet new people every day. That's what makes it special.\"<\/p>\n

After training as a barber and getting his first haircuts from friends, he opened the doors of Goldfinger on Scheldt Street in December 2016. The name\u00a0Goldfinger<\/em>\u00a0comes from his older brother, who opened the first branch in Goes. There are now four branches in the same recognizable style. \"We want every store to feel familiar, no matter where you step in,\" he says. In Vlissingen, Roni was literally ahead of the curve: \"Vlissingen did not yet have a hair salon as we envisioned. When I started here, there were opportunities. Scheldestraat is vibrant, diverse and accessible, exactly what suited us.\"<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n
