The start of your academic year begins in Vlissingen
On Thursday, September 10, 2026, De Lasloods in Vlissingen will be the setting for the Kickoff Festival Zeeland. The festival where students from Scalda, HZ University of Applied Sciences, and University College Roosevelt kick off the new academic year together.
From 4:00 PM to 11:59 PM you can enjoy live music, DJs, activities, and a great festival atmosphere. This year's lineup includes Freddy Moreira, Daredevils, Johnny500, and H4ZEL, among others. Whether you are just starting your studies or have been studying here longer: Kickoff Festival is the place to celebrate the start of the academic year with friends and classmates and meet new people.

At the Student Market, you will get acquainted with various Zeeland-based companies, organizations, and initiatives. You might even find your future internship or side job here.
