About Bunkermuseum

The Vlissingen Bunker Museum is located in a restored observation bunker next to the Oranjemolen on the Groene Boulevard. During the Second World War, this bunker was part of the Atlantic Wall and was used to monitor shipping on the Westerschelde. The original armored dome and various historical objects provide a good impression of this extraordinary period.

A visit to the museum shows the important role Vlissingen played during the war. Thanks to its special location, right near the former landing beach of the Allied forces, history and the surroundings come together here in an impressive way.
