About the city walk

Discover Vlissingen with a guide on a city walk and experience the city through its rich maritime past and vibrant present. On foot, you'll stroll past historic streets, striking buildings, and places with special stories, while the guide takes you through centuries of city history.

Vlissingen is inextricably linked with seafaring and trade. Along the way, you'll hear stories about the present and past of Vlissingen, discover where Michiel de Ruyter lived, and learn how high the water rose during the infamous 1953 flood.

Do you want to see more of Vlissingen? The city walk can also be combined with a tour to the sun train . During this ride, you'll discover another part of the city, including the boulevard.

The city tour is suitable as a group activity, for example for a family party, reunion, or corporate event. Packages are available in combination with lunch. A walking dinner with a guide is also an option.
