Restore Festival

On Friday, September 4, 2026, the grounds of Innovatiepunt De Kaap at the Kenniswerf in Vlissingen will host the first edition of the Restore Festival. This new festival focuses on music, innovation, and sustainability, and consists of a knowledge event in the afternoon and a concert in the evening.

Knowledge event
In the afternoon, the energy transition takes center stage. During a program hosted by presenter Jan Douwe Kroeske, experts, entrepreneurs, and organizations will discuss topics such as grid congestion, green hydrogen, and the role of festivals as a testing ground for innovation. There will be interviews, a panel discussion, demonstrations of hydrogen applications, and plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

Bettie Serveert Concert

'In the evening, the Dutch indie band Bettie Serveert will provide the opening concert of the Restore Festival. The band around singer Carol van Dyk broke through internationally with the album Palomine and performed on stages all over the world. By now, Bettie Serveert has existed for over thirty years and the band still plays a mix of classics and recent work, including the singles Thanks! (2025) en Evil Side (2026).

The event runs entirely on green hydrogen. All required electricity is generated using a hydrogen generator.
